In the heart of Nairobi City, in Kenya where the African sun kisses the earth with its warm embrace, two
lovely souls from Maji Mazuri , a small village in the slopes of Mt. Kenya but had rented in Nairobi for
close to ten years embarked on a journey that would take them on a rollercoaster of emotions, dreams
and hopes. Tumaini and Chausiku a young couple are so deeply in love that their affection sparked
constellations in their eyes, embarked on a journey to buy a house. At first they felt a little naïve
thinking that buying a house would be like renting and they would be just walking around , see a home
they like, make an offer and the next day move in. They were totally wrong.

Tumaini the dispatch manager at an airport in Kenya was a man with dreams as vast as the sky he
observed daily. From his modest savings in his local corporative society sacco, he thought he had cleared
the biggest obstacle towards owning a home. Tumainis ambitions sored like airplanes, yearning to pride
his beloved Chausiku, with a home they could call their own. Chausiku with her radiant smile and
unwavering determination, worked as a supervisor in a flower farm in Embu. She found beauty in the
blossoms that bloomed under her care, however, deep inside, she too longed for a place in the middle
of the city where their love could take root and grow.

Their hearts were set on the prestigious neighborhoods of Runda in Nairobi where majestic homes
stood like sentinels of affluence. However, reality bit hard as their budget seemed like a drop in an
ocean of aspirations. The journey towards owning a dream home proved to be a winding path filled with
mixed opportunities and broken dreams. After searching for over six months, five offers slipped through
their fingers like grains of sand and they had to take a step back to reassess the type of property they
were looking for.

While researching online, destiny played its cards when they stumbled on www.geoscape global.co.ke,
inquired about it from a friend who confirmed to them that he is in his current home courtesy of
Geoscape Global who facilitated proper background screening and successful purchase of his home. The
friend had the honor of introducing them to Aggrey Bando, a staff at Geoscape Global who had linked
him to a suitable home owner and witnessed their lease agreement signing for a property in Muthaiga.
Like a guiding star Aggrey led them to explore new territories and horizons- neighborhoods they had
never considered before. It is at this point when he realized that the home they were looking at did not
have to be perfect, but perfect for them in a small way, so he had to do something different. He quickly
took them on a guilty trip to Kitengela through Karen. Karen and Kitengela beckoned to them with open
arms, revealing stunning beauty and elegance they had never fathomed.

In Karen, they found a home like a masterpiece painted on canvas, an ode to sophistication and comfort.
This home had a surprising potential. The layout was very odd. We would later find out that the owner
was using it as a holiday home out of the hustle and bustles of the city. In Kitengela, natures embrace
was so enchanting that it seemed like a fairy tale brought to life. Every home on sale they visited, He
could see their excitement soaring high like an eagle and their hearts dancing with joy.

It was in Karen they encountered an extraordinary soul, a home owner who had the tempestuous winds
of covid. Forced to retire in the little village of Masai Mara in Narok County, he had to part with his
cherished Karen home. The threads of fate intertwined as Tumaini and Chausiku found themselves
captivated by the house and its owner’s tale. They quickly fell in love with the home and thought they
could make it a perfect place for themselves.

Negotiations began and amidst the ebb and flow of discussions, and after a few rounds of negotiations,
a deal was struck. Their dreams were now within reach and the thought of calling the Karen home their
own brought tears of happiness to their eyes. The house was a diamond in the rough, waiting for a
golden and loving touch that will transform it into a place where love and memories would find
sanctuary.

Two months later after facelifts and renovations, Tumaini and Chausiku stepped foot into their new
home. The little space around them seemed to burst with possibilities and the walls whispered of a
future filled with laughter, love and prosperity.

Overwhelmed with gratitude and joy, they realized the pivotal role played by Geoscape Global in making
their dream come true and so they dropped a piece of advice and I quote “In the quest for the perfect
home, let your heart be your compass while Geoscape Global be your guide. For within the realms of
possibility, dreams take flight and love finds its home”

Tumaini and Chausikus story reminds serves as a reminder that even with a low budget, love,
perseverance, and the right guidance can unveil the hidden treasures that wait in the embrace of a new
home. Their journey was a testament to the beauty of possibilities and the magic that awaits those who
dare to dream beyond the horizon.
